I want to know what makes this a really good game to justify the purchase. When people defend an expensive purchase it is a cop out. When people defend the game by saying it's hard is a cop out. The bad thing is that it's boring, I don't care about the story, lots of token management, it's over bloated with minis, card size is wonky, takes up too much table space, very expensive, components are crap, exp system sucks, and that mythic lied to me. Combat is pretty basic and hard to mess up with a dungeon crawler. The pros for me are that it's a good transition from the video game. Again people say it's good, but don't elaborate on what makes it good. I wanted to be fair with the review, but with how mythic looking I feel that it is fair to warn people that buying DD the board game is not a good idea. I went and got the all in pledge and have been very disappointed with mythic games handling the game launch especially the fire sale. I want to do a fair review of the game and I keep on hearing that the game is good, but no one really explains why it's good. r/tabletopgamedesign - Designer's subredditįirst thing I do have the board game and have played it a few times.
